a ghost ship
2023

photograph (c-print) of site-specific installation
A site-specific intervention in Malta that explores identity, memory, and transience by blurring the boundaries between object and environment. Rooted in Malta’s history of Mediterranean mobility, exile and crossings, the ghost ship emerges as a symbol of absence and return, inviting reflection on the fleeting nature of presence and our connection to the sea.
an unseen vessel, still adrift upon silence.
